It wasn't possible when my kids were small to eat as a family in the week as their dad didn't get home in time but we always ate together at the weekends. I'm a new follower from the A - Z challenge.
http://sallys-scribbles.blogspot.co.uk/Sallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14090018804016223955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2485234425633652697.post-36970658747437845502012-04-04T23:12:17.971-04:002012-04-04T23:12:17.971-04:00I would have never admitted this in high school, b...I would have never admitted this in high school, but I loved having family dinners. Love your post today. We had five children and now adding five grandchildren to the dinner equation. Our biggest rule was no tv, phone or other interruptions once we sit down. Dinner at the table was when we caught up on the day. Two questions were always asked...What was the best thing that happened to you today. What was the worst thing that happened to you today. No one could answer that in one word...had to be more than 'Nuthin''!
Looking forward to more fun and interesting posts.
Hugs~Sushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00098871743806383324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2485234425633652697.post-46572673672905506652012-04-04T15:16:20.796-04:002012-04-04T15:16:20.796-04:00Dinner as a family has always been a must in our h...Dinner as a family has always been a must in our home. And now that our children are grown and (mostly) out of the home, when they visit it's still something we all look forward to - - sitting down for dinner and TALKING! Nothing is better for family unity than meal time together!!Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16917139752555698353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2485234425633652697.post-82560668692261918602012-04-04T12:51:45.479-04:002012-04-04T12:51:45.479-04:00As Max is becoming more and more investigative, I&...As Max is becoming more and more investigative, I'm realizing those days are numbered for us.Jannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01526270041449395216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2485234425633652697.post-57593393055402175732012-04-04T12:35:29.524-04:002012-04-04T12:35:29.524-04:00We've always eaten dinner together, unless one...We've always eaten dinner together, unless one of us is out (I do work evenings sometimes). I think it's very important too. Unfortunately it's my eldest child who's the fussy eater, so I can't get away with 'stegasaurus's favourite food' with a 12 year old :-)Annalisa Crawfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14943610814274794998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2485234425633652697.post-1185179566800300582012-04-04T12:27:46.834-04:002012-04-04T12:27:46.834-04:00Good post on a very important topic.Good post on a very important topic.Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05355279439488892399noreply@blogger.com
